Dress design for Shabby Apple Dresses

Dress design for Shabby Apple Dresses.

Shabby Apple Dress 1-

This dress is inspired by the beach. A woman can wear this dress to the beach with sandals during the day and then add some great jewelery and sexy heels to be ready for a party that night. It is functional fun and sexy.

Fabric is light, stretchy and flowing. The bodice is layers of the fabric which overlap each other. It is a basic flowing skirt perfect for spring with surprise pockets to give a little personality, flare and functionality. I imagine this dress in white, but it would look great in any color pallet.

Shabby Apple Dress 2-

This is an elegant yet fun spring dress that is perfect for any occasion. The hidden pockets add flare and personality.

The architecture of this dress was inspired by the Eiffel Tower. And the color was inspired by New York fashion week.

The fabric of the main dress is a vibrant color ( I used pink). A stretch jersey with a sheen. The criss cross is another color (I liked white) using the same kind of stretch jersey so that it hangs and flows nicely.

I used the bright pink and white because it reminded me of a gerber daisy and spring. Any bright fun colors would work great!

Family PIctures

Our good friend Carolyn took our family pictures in West Laramie in October. She did such a good job. Thanks Carolyn. We love them. All of the kids are getting really big. Aly is 6 and in first grade. Kyrsten is 4 and in preschool. Emily is 3 and also in preschool. Little Josh is 1 and a tease.
